Those who are new to the world of PC games will probably find some of the terms used quite confusing. You should be able to pick up quickly on these, however, soon become part of their vocabulary game. These are just some of the more common terms you hear in terms of PC games.
Graphics Processing Unit (CPU) ~ graphics processing unit (CPU) ~ graphics processing unit (CPU). The GPU is the chip in a card game where the images are produced. The quality of the images we see in games will be determined by the type of CPU you have.
Texture mapping. Most people have seen the DSTTi texture mapping, but you realize that was what it was. This is the ability to make objects look 3D, which is important for modern games that we enjoy. There are plenty of treatment is needed for this, but a picture of bitmap images can be very persuasive.
Frame rate. The frame rate refers to the rate of appearance of images on the screen that ak2i gives the illusion of movement. When it comes to quality games on the good these days, have a speed of about sixty frames per second. If the frame rate is any lower than 30 frames per second that is starting to look awkward.
Artifact. Sometimes during a game, you will see something appear on your screen should not be acekard 2i there and this is called an artifact. These usually will appear because the CPU does not correspond to the demands put on it. The team also might be running slowly because of something like a computer virus or driver problems.
Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) ~ Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) ~ Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP). Older computers use a APG graphics card to be connected and can play PC games. Most modern computers no longer have an AGP, but the team still can.
